As a life-long learner, Amy has a keen eye for discovering hidden gems in any situation, and an unique ability to produce high impact & sustainable change within teams. Amy stewards a growth mindset in all that she does, while occupying and/or creating spaces for dialogue, depth, discipleship, development, and most importantly, devotion to King Jesus.

Amy is a 2nd generation American to hardworking and courageous immigrant parents from Nigeria. She is a joyful wife of almost 10 years & a mother of an energetic and kindhearted son; they are her joy!

She holds a bachelors from Texas Tech University with a social work emphasis, a degree in biblical studies, and a masters in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. Amy is a national board certified counselor and licensed to practice in Texas.

Amy is an educator and an equipper who empowers her clients to excel in theirs mental health journey and beyond. She does this by helping them better understand their identity, reduce stressors, develop effective communication and coping skills, and better understand the core issue, or diagnosis in a simplified and understandable way, along with spiritual insight.

Amy works with women and men adults, teens, couples, family units (traditional, blended, foster, adopted, etc), groups, and teams. She uses predominantly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, forgiveness therapy, EMDR, and art therapy to best serve the needs of her clients.

Amy also has served in many different capacities in ministry, including children, youth, women’s and families, and she has worked with many non-profits who serve vulnerable populations, such as children in foster care, abused women, youth experiencing homelessness, and those in emotional recovery.

Amy is a published author of The Declutter Devotional, a book about making space in your home and heart through purging. Her passion for soul health is what moves her heart in her work.

When Amy has down time, she enjoys it through laughing with loved ones, dancing, reading, vintage shopping, and riding her aqua blue bike named Prudence!
